Providence is calling a Clinical Manager (Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Home Health for Providence Home Services of King County in Tukwila, WA.
As a leader, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians (RN, LPN, PT, PTA, OT, COTA, Aide, MSW, SLP) for a geographic region within King County. In this position you will:
Be directly involved with recommendations for budget development and monthly monitoring of operations utilization and expenses. Including reviewing staff productivity standards and assuring standards are consistently met, recommending and implementing ways to decrease overtime. Focus on achieving the objectives of clinical excellence and maximizing accurate financial reimbursement for episodes of care.
Develop and maintain Clinical Staffing Plan.
Review recommended new positions of FTE changes to respond to increased patient care visits and processing posting upon approval in accordance with productivity standards and budget levels.
Be responsible for establishing ongoing performance, productivity standards and competency evaluations assuring all directreport staff’s ability to meet or exceed those standards in accordance with state, federal and Medicare requirements.
Address performance issues and/or productivity issues and provide intervention, education and appropriate disciplinary action as related to performance issues, up to and including recommendation to Director to terminate an employee for just cause. Conferences with staff, case managers, Human Resources, other clinicians or Clinical Director as appropriate.
Participate with HH Directors, Home Health management team and other key PSCS personnel in developing, evaluating and revising home care policies, procedures, standards competencies, quality and risk management, and objectives to ensure they cover clinical operations and processes and they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Be responsible for monitoring the compliance to meeting policies, procedures and standards to assure quality and consistencyof services among the various sites and teams and to participate in providing in-service education as needs are identifiedto obtain desired results.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in health care related field
Current and in good standing RN, PT, OT or SLP License in Washington State
Certified OASIS Specialist - Clinical certification is required or must be obtained within 1 year from date of hire
Current Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Current Driver’s license and have access to daily use of an insured, reliable vehicle
3 years of experience in the nursing or rehab field
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 5 years supervisor/management experience
